A buddy of mine thought his chick was entirely into him because he's tall,
fairly fit, financially independent and older than me, while she would take any
opportunity to flirt with me when he wasn't looking. It ended up with her
buying me coffee and calling me several times at night "just to hear my voice"
when that guy was busting his head on the wall trying to figure out why she
still wouldn't let him kiss her. And I REALLY honestly did not want his chick,
both because she's not up to my standards and because he was into her and I had
a different target (her two girlfriends).

So, IMO, my advice to you, don't ignore it. But don't show that you're affected
by it either. Just out-alpha the guy. I'm not talking about using some amog
tactic, just be more alpha. More relaxed, more c&f, more push-pull, etc.
