You let AFC idiot take the LEAD
Remember Alphas always maintain the lead
When some dolt says something that you know is going to screw up your
game, you don't just give him an answer that responds to what he said
. . .

See what happens! Now that you've given the lead to the guy, he's
going with the flow and REALLY screwing things up. He may have been
doing this intentionally too.

Well, the girl has confirmed that you've lost it.

First, an important point:
Alphas feel no need to respond intstatnly to what somebody else says.
If you haven't trained to the point where you have an instant reponse,
use a dramatic pause & look the guy in the eyes. Do the same thing
you do with girls- make sure he's the one who has to break eye
contact.
This first of all breaks up the guy's momentum. All of a sudden
you've brought things to a halt (you've got the lead now) and he's in
an awkward situation.
Since you were dominating the conversation before, if he tries to push
the point now, it'll come out awkward & he'll shoot himself in the
foot. The only way he'll be able to wriggle out of this is to change
the subject, in which case he's beta-ized.
More importantly, though, you're also buying yourself time to analyze
the situation.
Think about it. Some possibilities for why he's doing this.
1) He's a blithering idiot who likes to babble about his insights on
social interactions just like any girl would.
2) He figures he's 'caught' you being attracted to the girl & will
'lubricate' the interaction, since his insight is superior to yours &
you need help, or
3) Most likely, he's using a cheap shot to try to beta-ize you & get
the upper hand.
- Now that you've thought for a couple of seconds (which is how long
this should take) you've gotta come up with a solution
There are many good approaches, but with AFCs I think a very good one
is to use the principles of judo: let the guy come at you, but DIRECT
the momentum of his attack so that his force ends up hurting HIM.
Q: What's your advantage over him?
A: You know PU and have confidence, while he's an AFC
Q: Like in Judo, how can you take the force of his attack and direct
it so he blunders right over you & hurts himself.
A: If you know he's an AFC, who has no hope of PUing an HB 9 properly,
then turn the tables on him as follows:
AFC: Hey Mo(me), "I can tell you like Hb9!".
Mo: Dude! HB9 is one fine *person* But really, AFC, there's no
need to be vicarious. I know you're really itching to meet
her and are just transferring your desires to me . . .
Now, one possibility: take HB9's hand (1st kino) and extend it over to
AFC & say: "AFC meet HB9, HB9- this is AFC, he's a . . . "
Do an eleborate mock 'introduction'
Guess what- you've got the LEAD again.
Guess what else, you've now put AFC in the position where he's gotta
Put Up or Shut Up.
Guess what also, it's maintaining your position of confidence & active
disinterest in HB9, while establishing 1st contact!
You can come up with a dozen different ways to corner the guy into a
situation like this.
So now he's gotta DO something.
Most likely he'll do what he did before, blunder on-
AFC: No i know these things when i see them, i can tell you
like her alot."
So if that happens you can reply with something like:
Mo: (To the whole group, NOT directed as a reply to AFC- he never gets
acknowledged as someone who can command answers from you)
"Well, ya know, I need to be more AWARE. HB9 is indeed an
excellent person (always use Personality words rather than
Hottness words like babe, beauty, etc., maintain your
disinterest level)
Turn to HB9.
Mo: (In a mock mideaeval voice) "HB9, since it's clear that AFC is
unchivalrously failing to shower his attentions upon you, be
aware that I am standing ready in the breach, to ensure that
your every desire is . . . fulfilled . . . "
Then go back to leading the group.
Of course, you can also come up with other ways to handle Round 2
Note- if he get's pissed off, everything changes, but if he does that
he's DEFINITELY beta-ized himself.
