northern europe:
-negging was pointless. everyone in scandinavia negged. it was pretty much
impossible to get anything but a half-way compliment, or a backhanded one. or
a comment about some negative quality that's 'made better' by some ioi being
added to it. this stuff is really unusual and makes you stand out in the usa.
but not in scandinavia - negging was the normal AFC game there.
what DID make me stand out was the ability to give honest, heartfelt, small
compliments. nothing overstated. "you look good." with a totally serious
face, body language telling her 'i mean it, and i don't mean anything by it
other than that you look good, and you had better accept this compliment too.'
or even better, if you know her a little bit, follow it up with some comment
that shows that you notice her style and appreciate what you see. example:
"you look good. you should wear tight jeans more often." (NOTE: no
smirking! serious face, neutral tone. you are STATING A FACT.)
-being high energy and POSITIVE was absolutely key! too many depressive gloomy
people up there. too few fun outgoing friendly ones.
-talking fluff to girls constantly KILLS YOU up there, particularly if you're
from the states! americans have this reputation for being uneducated brutes or
mindless idiots, and if you fit this stereotype too closely and without any
irony whatsoever, you'll probably lose out. scandinavian women tend to be more
serious than american ones, and adore long intense conversations about complex
topics. this is your ability to prod each other's minds as you play footsies
and give each other long, intense ioi. don't talk to her like she's a
debutante; pull out all the game you'd use to seduce an intellectual instead.
NOTE: prettygirls from the capitals may be an exception to this rule. they
turn me off, so i didn't game them - but if they're your style, try your
american hotbabe tactics on them instead, because the culture in the capitals
seems to produce a lot of ditzybitches. any time you're out in the 'regions',
though, you'll deal with a lot fewer partygirls.
-approaching fast, approaching fearless, approaching with positive vibes and
high energy, a slight smile on my face and some wry thing to say... GREAT. for
sarging both genders.
-knowing social norms and conventions but following them ONLY when not doing so
would have been rude, and ignoring them when they were there to keep us from
doing what we really want by making us afraid to 'make a spectacle of
ourselves' - GREAT. so many scandinavians are all tied up in a tight tight
tight little ball... aching to let their hair down, express themselves, be a
little wild, have some FUN, live a little - or a lot... most people only do it
when they're drunk or on vacation - giving people social leave to act a little
silly and wild with me worked WONDERS.
