real. Dont really know what took me so long, but i have started now and feel
good about it.
I hooked up with my wing, veevix, to go out clubbing and barhopping in the city
(Rotterdam). After a few beers--not too many cause we wanted to sarge sober--we
discussed the plans for the evening. I had done some basic approaches before,
and with that i mean really basic. simple conversations or just asking
questions and leaving. Veevix had never really practissed anything yet, so we
needed to start out very simple. Before we would test some openers, do some
conversation, we decided we should do about 10 warm-up approaches...just asking
a question to a girl we saw on the street.
This worked out pretty ok. i asked 2girls for a sigarett, asked directions to
the club we where heading, asked a bartender if she thought it was going to be
fun&crowded in her bar tonight and yes, even asking the goddamn time.
We had both done about 5 of these 'warmups' (i dont know if theres allready a
term for it) when we decided to go to the club and start for real.
We did the following openers:
- we where in the lounge of the club. we sat down near 2girls. it was a very
obvious move. However, instead of staring a convo there was a silence for like
3minutes...arggghh!!! we both couldnt think of anything to say. In the end i
said to one of them, 'typical isnt it. where sitting down close to you, and we
cant think of anything to say.' this came out pretty good (to bad it came out
so fucking late!) and she was actually very positive, smiling etc. 'oh thats
ok:)' she said. Then i introduced myself and my wing and asked there names.
then the conversation stopped and they left. oh well:(
-Then Veevix did the who lies more opener. Even though it didnt come out super
smooth, the two girls he asked where instantly playfull and interested in the
subject. Again though, we didnt manage to continue the conversation.
-Then i did one with a girl wo sat down next to me in another lounge area. I
asked her if she was here alone and we had a small conversation about going to
clubs alone and that we both wouldnt enjoy it and about the club we where in.
-Veevix went up to two girls and told him he and I had a bet. He said he
thought the girls where sisters and I thought friends. the girl said sisters
and when i gave her a 'yeahh right' look (one was blackhaired the other blond)
she asked in a bitchy voice if i didnt believe her. I said i was very unlikely
cause the one was blond and the other black. She told me it was dyed. again the
convo stopped after this
-We did a few more openers i forgot and probably arent worth mentioning anyway.
the above where the best we did. i know, very nube:(.
By the end of the night we where out of energy or something, we just didnt feel
like approaching anymore. Not because we felt bad about are experiences btw.
This was the first time i seriously put this in to use and it was about time!
The approaches where not good at all compared to what you read here, but i
didnt expect anything else. you have to start somewhere. I would though like to
wing with someone who has a better game then me sometime, i think it would help
me more. So, to anyone from Rotterdam reading this, tell me if your
interested;).
