In any meaningful degree....powerful and wealthy that is?
Well, ermmm, what about an average PUA (in the sense of power and wealth).
These traits attract women, and ok, it is not exactly rocket science. But I can
not believe that every PUA is to be regarded upon as being powerful (in the
"common" sense, I am not referring to internal power or self-control) nor
wealthy. Good money is one thing, wealthy is a whole different ballgame.

Hmmm, isn't it in human nature to be tempted to stray? My point is more or
less: if they can get away with it without being caught, wouldn't the vast
majority go for it?

Hmmm, yes. And....hmmm, no. I mean, is there any way you can know for sure that
these couples you know are not straying? For instance: I have a FB, and she is
in a pretty serious LTR, 5 years now. I am positive that people surrounding
this couple think they do not stray. See what I mean?
