mASF post by "TylerDurden" posted on: mASF forum: General Discussion newsgroup, October 10, 2004You know, this is a very fair question and something that I would have wondered
myself when I was getting started. It occurs to me that there is a
misunderstanding on ASF about what sparks attraction.
Attraction is something that is usually sparked very quickly, and it is sparked
consistently with most girls that you approach if you know how. It is caused
when girls observe certain behavioural cues from you. From there, the "game" is
in giving them what they need to justify acting on their attraction, and
handling the logistics that make escalation appropriate.
That is why there are many odd threads posted on ASF from veteran guys, that
seem so odd and unnecessary. Like a PUA goes out and spots a 10 in some nasty
logistical mess. So he posts a thread where he says "The way to get 10s is like
this and this..." He's ASSUMING that the guys reading will spark attraction in
9 of every 10 girls that he approaches. That's ASSUMED in the posts. Like when
I took my first Mystery Method workshop, he was like "Alright, do this and
this, and then you'll have her isolated so you can makeout with her." I was
like "OK, so why is this girl going to make out with me just because I isolated
her?" Mystery's like "Dude, you have her ALONE. OF COURSE she'll make out."
I'm like "Uhhh, OK.." Of course, through practise of just going out, I
acquired the behaviour patterns. So in the end, all that mattered was that I
was out there doing things. I mean, its the same old cult-like rhetoric. Go
out, go out, go out.
That's the context that many posts you guys are reading is based in. Attraction
is assumed. If you don't have this stuff down, don't read up on specific
threads on how to pick up in esoteric situations. Go read the archives.
