Someone with true values does not, but you better believe that someone with
"status" cares a lot what you think. Staggerlee was right when he said that
status was an illusion. Status only exists if you believe it does.

If people with status didn't care what you thought, then neg theory would not
work and active disinterest and group theory would be a joke.

I'll give an example (credit to Mystery b/c I am just rewording something that
he said once): those long lines outside the club serve a purpose; those guys
are there to make the club look desirable so the hot SHBs have an audience to
walk passed when they skip the line.

Think about it. Without the long lines, there is no audience to walk passed.
There is no status. Status relies on people believing in its existence. People
gain status b/c others reinforce to them that they are better. That attitude
sticks with them and it becomes their habit. However, when you break it down,
it doesn't really exist.
