Excellent question.
A year and a half ago (pre-current main girl, in the heyday of my mistress and
I) I had around a 5% open-to-full close ratio.
Which was amazing. With an average of 3 approaches per day (really easy,
especially if you use public transportation at all), 5% open/close rate leads
to 1 new girl a week. Then all you need is to put the time in.
But it did take significant amounts of time. Anyway, previously, I thought 30%
was a lofty aspiration. I thought if you could legitimately lay one in three
girls you approached, that'd be amazing.
Lately, my views have been shifting. During my 10 girls in 10 weeks tear, I
think I had around a 75% open/close ratio on girls I followed up with. That may
be juiced a bit, though, since I did get a few numbers that I never bothered
with. But I am confident that with proper followup, many of those numbers
would've panned.
Anyway, my "secret" has been pretty simple: My perception has gotten better. I
still only go for girls of a quality I like, but I'm focusing more on girls
that either make eye contact with me beforehand, check me out, or look like
they're hurting for it.
My own mind is blown at the rates I've been putting up, and I won't do it for
extended periods of time. After my rotation is 4 or 5 deep and I'm satisfied
again, I'll settle down and go to laying the errant girl when the situation
presents itself.
