Thats interesting.. many years ago when i knew hippies
from social circle, I'd have the opposite effect. I
didnt smoke, didn't allow them to qualify since they
were high, and they were usually attracted.
mindset at the beginning of any trip is important for
the rest of the trip. So if people are tired to begin
with, they'll be tired even more afterwards.
It could also be that any high energy
stuff is too much stimulation for them. I always
noticed that slowing things down, way way down, and
also using lots of non-linear stuff, was the way to
lead people when high. lots of play acting as if the
tripper was 3-years old works wonders ("omg! what
was that! .... oh look! just my hand! where did that
come from!"). As long as it isnt babysitting, it's fun.
hmm, now that i think about it, leaving the circle
might have helped. that's like a fake-deep-rapport
activity that you aren't taking part in, so get away
from there (go to different room) and come back a few mins
later. since I knew they were in a completely different
state than when i left the room, I'd always come back with
a play acting thing, reframe as someone else (slowed way
down).
