were *very* useful. And I don't give a rat's ass about the general/advanced
distinction - it's meaningless. There are useful and useless posts, and this
one provided a handful of truly useful responses. (kooper's, for instance)
(I could go off on a tangent on how you're trying to prevent people here from
reinventing the wheel, but we still have the original, farcical player guide
up, and there are no helpful hints telling people to read the archives... but
I won't ;) )
Also, who cares if the poster "discounts" the replies to his post? Do you
really think filtering quiz replies would stop TD from (very effectively)
tooling people on this board? *Really*? Jay, if that's true, I'd love to hire
you in the field of airport/homeland security.
The simple truth is, TD has learned to manipulate everyone, not just women, and
unless someone steps up to become an anti-TD (which is laughable, since who
cares about internet tooling?), he'll own discussions from here until
infinity...
Sorry if this reply is a little meta - discussing the usefulness of PU advice
rather than PU advice itself - but I'd rather not have an "anti-tooling" filter
on my content absorption. Your board, though.
