Dude, this is a fun thread and everything, but I suspect the reason you've
started it isn't cool..
You've always got comments like "you must be goodlooking, you play rugby, you
have big muscles" etc..
I APPRECIATE your concerns, and we ALL have them, but you need to FILTER these
thoughts from your aspiring PUA brain.
These thoughts will NOT help you.
Become INTERNALLY focused. IGNORE other people's games.
YES, of course, a guy like NYC's advice may not apply to you (since its
basically a 3000 page diatribe on making girls get with the program NOW etc)
but at the same time, you'd do better to focus less on others, and focus more
on cultivating a DIRECT skill set that you can use in sarges.
WHY-WHY-WHY-WHY-WHY DO NEWBIES READ THE CURRENT ASF?!?!?!?
If you're at a place that you want to be with your game, then this place is
GREAT. Same if you're new, and you want to have your FRs critiqued.
But that aside, READ THE ARCHIVES. Any time you'd spend here, SHIFT it to the
archives.
This is my honest best recommendation.
Before I came onto this board, I'd read PILES from the archives, and it helped
me TREMENDOUSLY.
Now I see you've read the NYC archive, what else have you read?
More importantly, what skillsets do you have down COLD?
If you want to make FAST progress, the fun filler on this board will SLOW that
down.
I LOVE this board, as evidenced by my mass postings, but that's POST-archives.
Same for people who don't NEED help improving. But I see that you are
COMMITTED to the game right? I can see you're TRYING your BEST, by the amount
of time you sink in. So why not take the fastest route?
Oh yeah I can't remember the questions, but its something like I'm 23, doing
this 6 months, sarge at school, and my style changes all the time (but
Toecutter is the standby for much of my style, and THIS month did experiments
with Gunwitch and 2 tries at MM). I have several of rolemodels as well, but
I'm sure I'd forget some of them.
