That's the dilemma of being a performer versus a pickup artistThe LSS guys who went on this BBC Show probably had big expectations of
themselves, and they knew that if they botched it on TV that they would be
being inconsistent to their PUA identities. So they had more psychological
pressure on them than the other guys there.
If you look at the famous CraigSD220 Elimidate program, although he won the
competition, he wasn't nearly as cool on TV as he is in person. In real life,
he has one of the best senses of humour and strongest frames that you'll ever
see. But on the show, he was a lot closer to an average guy.
On one level, I would love to go on Elimidate, because I know that I'd probably
smoke it. But what if I lost? What if I got nervous and dropped the ball?
What if the chick randomly disqualified me on my looks before I had a chance to
convey personality? etc etc..
The thing that really annoys me is when guys post pictures or videos or perform
in real life, and people criticize them. To me, that is discouraging other
guys from putting up the goods in real life. You will *never* see me post
badly about a guy that I met up with in real life. In fact, oftentimes I will
meet guys in real life who blatantly suck, and regardless that I'm extremely
friendly to them they will think in their minds that I'm make a nasty post
about them on the internet, so they try to pre-empt it by writing up some
bullshit about me. But even those I never reply to, and what they didn't
realize was that I never say anything but good things about the guys that I
meet up with in real life, for the reasons that I listed above.
I am in this community to learn as much as possible, and if the guys who meet
up with me are nervous that I'm judging them, I won't get the best out of them.
In fact, I will almost always beta myself to PUAs that I meet, because I want
to make them feel good and pump their states so that I'll have the privilege of
seeing what they're capable of on a good night.
Meanwhile, you have guys here who will probably diss the LSS guys, who are
probably capable of a lot more than they produced on the TV show - and
continuing the cycle of other guys being uncomfortable doing demonstrations in
real life.
