What I seem to be noticing is that unless
you establish yourself as secret society
with a woman right away, the more she
has invested in any kind of relationship
with you, the less likely she is to accept
you as secret society later on.
In my case, I started participating in the
community shortly after I started seeing my
current LTR. At first she thought it was
mildly interesting that I was taking the time
to understand women. Then she decided that
she wasn't sure she liked the idea. Now
she definitely does not want me "analyzing"
behavior, and she tells me that all of my
observations are untrue. Statistically,
that would be difficult to swallow. Since I
do have a phd in engineering, I am used
to observing phenomena and drawing the
appropriate conclusions, so being 100%
wrong is more than faintly ridiculous.

I don't know if this is true, but in
my experience, NOT being a player has
resulting in loserness every time.
