This is an interesting discussion that's going on, although I have to admit
I distrust anything that takes place on a large number of newsgroups. The
seduction-masters (wink) at alt.seduction.fast will be better able to help
WHEN AND IF the layguide's assumptions are adopted, or at least understood,
by the petitioner. Extra newsgroups snipped.

No, I utterly disagree.

Intelligent choices, are those which work. Violence generally works, as
long as it's not delivered in a foolish manner.

Certain forms of violence lead to certain very specific negative
consequences in our society today, so you've got to be smart enough to
administer violence in a manner that's not damaging to the administerer (is
that a word?), but, really, people who assume "violence is for stupid
people" obviously haven't ever noticed that those nations which win wars,
are those which go on to dominate world economies and determine future
policy; or noticed that those people who can back up their claims with the
threat of force, get their claims and get catered to.

Sure, "violence is the last resort of people who don't care to solve
problems without violence," but that's circular logic. Just because mommy
said that violence never solved anything, doesn't mean mommy was right.
