To my knowledge, yes. However, you pay more for the Advanced tape set and it
does not come with the workbook or flash cards. The Advanced tapes are said
to be quite good, but my approach has been that if the Basic course cannot
deliver as promised for me, then the Advanced course would be a waste of
money. If it does deliver as promised, then becoming Advanced would only
make sense.

I have heard the audio is better on the advanced tapes from two different
sources here.
