That's kind of unfair don't you think? If you were to read his response more
carefully and absorb what he's saying you'd understand. He gave you the answer
to your question.

The difference between direct and indirect are the intentions. When you go
indirect you are hiding from something. It's usually fear. When you go direct
you are jumping out of an airplane with no chute. Most of the things that a
guy doing indirect thinks about direct game is that going direct and expressing
your interest is akin to shooting yourself in the foot. This isn't so.

In your first post on this thread, you said that you used to do direct. Well I
bet you it's not the direct game that most people on here know about.
Understand that just having the balls to go up to a chick and telling her she's
hot is not all that direct is. There are people that have become linked with
the word direct, yet all have a different interpretation. Badboy and Shark are
the first ones that popularized the term direct. Their style of direct is the
one I prefer.

What I've learned from these dudes is that direct is not just a style. It's a
way in which to carry yourself and the effects it has on you. If you live your
life without excuses you live better. This means you make no excuses for
yourself and more importantly, you don't use excuses to talk to women.

A lot of guys don't seem to understand this because they're still at the level
of game where they think that what they say has more baring than what they
believe about themselves. All the talk about direct being just an opener is
nonesense because of one simple factor. When you make no excuses for yourself
you begin to realize how easy the game really is. When you get used to living
at the level of awareness that truly not giving a shit about what others say
about you allows you to, then you'd understand.

This is the main reason why I choose direct over indirect. I think indirect is
cool and it works well, but it stops working for you when you want to reach a
place of freedom from what society and your own programming have prevented you
from achieving. This argument has been beaten to death on this board. Plain
and simple. If you think you can get laid using indirect then by all means use
it. Personally I don't think that b errating eachothers' styles is helpful at
all. Keeping in mind that people who are new or even transitioning from one
style to the other are reading this and all the arguing about styles is
confusing as fuck. I would like to see those who argue against direct, be able
to back up their argument with concrete findings instead of saying; Oh! A
chick would never go for that type arguments. This goes for dudes arguing
against indirect too.

You can also have a ratings system for dicks that stir up needless drama in
their threads just to get a conversation rolling on a subject they like. Read
your second post and you'll see that you did just this. I can't believe you'd
make such a suggestion. You're a fucking joke.
