mASF post by "Yuri" posted on: mASF forum: General Discussion newsgroup, December 12, 2003You guys are missing some crucial points of the puzzle.
First of all, people take seminars and pay $600 or whatever not necessarily
only to meet the best PUAs and sarge with them, but also to increase their
knowledge at a rapid rate. I have no problem whatsoever with guys selling
workshops, because it's just a simple convenience business exchange. Sure you
could sarge for hours and hours, but for some people, time > money. This is the
same reason McDonalds charges outrageous prices for "sort of good" food. It's
you paying for the convenience.
Also, not everybody wants to go to the PUA summits in order to "meet the top
PUAs" ... I have no interest other than in sarging with guys and having fun
with them. I don't want to idolize anyone. I certainly hope to learn something.
When I was in Boston, I had a lot of fun. I also added a lot of good stuff to
my game. More important, I met some really cool people, and was once again
motivated to sarge. My game has increased a ton since then, even though half
that time I couldn't sarge at all.
It did make me want to sarge more, and no that same feeling can not be
implemented in a "home study course," not as easily anyway. Seeing things in
real life is always more effective.
Anyway, despite what looks to be a cool event in LA, it looks like it's gonna
be too much money for me to come unless I somehow get more income in the period
between now and then.
