Day 12

I took a couple of days off to rest and get my head back together. I did game
just a little over the 2 days off and got one of my favourite text messages of
late :) The sister I was making out with on day 10 has gone back to the US, so
I text her sister and say she was fun and we should hook up for a drink
sometime soon. She responds "Hey ... You trying to mack both sisters?! Let's
meet up sometime next week... we'll find an adventure..." :) That might be fun.
Anyway, I think the sheer quantity of sets I was opening was messing up the
quality and wasting my energy, so I've decided to go for quality over quantity.
I put that into practice today.
Started the day with a meet with a chick I #closed on Day 5. I played it cool
and don't try to kiss her at any point, because someone suggested I experiment
with not kissing. It goes well, we walk around for a few hours and I offer her
my faux knowledge of the Southbank. She's quite cute, but her interests don't
stretch much further than movies. We part and I kiss her on both cheeks. I get
the feeling she was expecting more than a peck on either cheek. Well, this was
how I was playing the game with this chick, so we'll see how it goes if we meet
again.
Then went to meet up with the LSS guys. Decided to open a few sets while we
waited for everyone to turn up. The first set opens very well, a very
attractive tall blonde lady. We were laughing and smiling and it was going
great and then all of a sudden she said she had to go get her train, said
goodbye and disappeared. I promise I didn't fart! I have no idea why she left
so suddenly.
Anyway, I wander back to the guys and then go off again to open another set.
She's a cute young chick from Lithuanian. We have a cool vibe once again and I
split my attention between her and the music rather equally, not paying too
much attention. We have a good chat and I say "Hey, what are you doing right
now? Let's go get a coffee". She seems to want to, but says she is waiting for
someone so they can go to a museum. From there it's easy - I just say we should
do it another time and #close her. She asks me to ring her and types my name
into her phone, so it's seems like a solid #close.
From there I wander off into Covent Garden and surrounding area. As I said at
the start, I'm after quality not quantity, so I scout around looking for a good
lone-wolf to open. I mill around with little success, so head into a bookstore.
I open a chick looking at foreign language books and ask her for advice about
learning spanish because I think she looks like she is Spanish. She spends
about 10 minutes sorting through books looking for a good one for me to buy,
and I bust her on her choices, e.g. "What - verb tables? No way, I want to
learn how to speak, not recite verbs!", "There aren't any pictures in that
one!", opening one and reading "'The politicians involved were concerned about
spies' - why would I want to be able to say that?!". Had a great laugh with
her. After a time I ran the same line as above "Hey, what are you doing right
now? Let's go get a coffee". She says yes and we insta-date to a cool coffee
place. That goes well and we chat and have a laugh etc. We finish coffee and
she looks like she might leave, although seems to want to stay. So I say
something like "It's a pity you can't stay for a drink". She says she can, so
we venue change to nearby bar.
It goes great in the bar. Everything is good. She keeps looking at my chest,
she is happy to get kino touches and nudges, I do the hair-touch test and she
is receptive to that. It looks ON. So I try to kiss her. Boom, she shy's away
from it. I continue talking like nothing happened. We stay for another drink.
An old couple in there sixties sit near us and demolish a bottle of red wine
between them in less than 45 minutes. I wanna high 5 them both!!
She throws a shit-test at me "Do you pick up all your girls in bookstores?". I
should have said something better, but was a little sozzled with the booze and
told her I was looking for a book on Spanish and that she looked spanish. It
contents her.
It comes to the point where we have finished this round of drinks. "Staying for
another?". "Hmmm, haaa, hmmm, haaa - no, I between go". Bummer. It really felt
like it was ON. I walked her back to the tube and left her there because I
wanted to catch up with the other guys. On reflection, it might have paid
dividends to have gone with her, as we were both going in the same general
direction. Or maybe not, who knows.
So, a good days work. Open 3 sets - 1 # closes. 1 # close and insta-date. With
more skill, I might even have closed the deal. Still learning :)
