I'm pretty disillusioned with PUA products. I wonder if they are trying to teach me something or just make a product page shiny and slick enough for me to hand over my credit card information.
While Attraction code doesn't make me stop wondering, it is a pretty bad ass product, ranking on my top 5 must reads for a PUA. And cheap, $37(it's be like 15 on Amazon or Barns and Noble).
Attraction Code is like a product I've never seen. It contains ZERO outer game. At the same time, its not really inner game». It actually just provides what the marketing lingo says it provides: Transforms your mind into that of a PUA or whatever.
The Book is pretty much method agnostic. You can use it with whatever you current method is. I find that aspect quite appealing because it just lets me upgrade whatever I'm doing. Which is just my own method at this point... okay okay with lots of JM .
Any way, compared to his other free products and articles, this product is simply MASSIVE. It is unexpectedly complete. Not to take away from the quality, but Vin's writings are usually terse with big letters. The short piece have also proven effective in my own training though.
I don't think I can emphasis how full and developed the ideas in the attraction code are. It is very well organized information, it is also explain through multi level narratives (Patric's Story) that develop through out the book. I got the feeling that Vin and Brain were countries about different learning styles and made the effort to present the information in a way that would help both left and right brainers.
Now about the actual material. It is not necessarily brand new never discussed about ideas, but what it is is a different perspective and take on them.
It contains 4 chapters that are very long (~270 pages of medium sized font).
Chapter 1 - Goes into detail about social status, dominance and how it relates to attraction and how to think of these things. This to me was a very helpful chapter because it cleared up many erroneous ideas I've had about dominance.
Chapter 2 - Goes back in time so to speak, it goes into detail about the developments in the past and how attraction in the way you think are now effected by it.
Chapter 3 - I like this chapter because it goes into the mythical illogical women ideas. This one really helped bust some old ways of thinking and has put me on the right track. I was kind of headed in that direction after reading David Shade's book, Foundations.
Chapter 4 - This part actually goes into the attraction code. it even has Diagrams. It is the most abstract part of the book and will probably take the most time to understand.
The books touches on so much its hard to write a decent review. But I will say, I would not hesitate to buy this book again and I've already read it twice. I've been in the community for over 2 years now and this book is indeed a breath of fresh air.
I want to make it very clear what this book is not, it is NOT a method, it is NOT a make me feel good inner game», it is a way of thinking to be successful at whatever method you chose.
It also comes with 4 bounous books, This is where the outer game lives.
Secrets of Sexual Tension - this is basically a previously free free blog post prettied up and slightly revised. I have gotten phenomenal results with this.
Pros
- Very clean presentation and professional looking
-- Meaty material
-- 4 bonus books that look great and work well too.
Cons
-- Kind of up sells the boot camp a little. Its not too annoying or uncommon practice though
-- I hate the product page. It almost made me not want to look at the book. I'm tired of long Marketing Spiels. I'm happy that its easy to skip all that and just buy the book.
Overall This books has joined my arsonal. Currently the only material I'm looking at is David Shades - Fondations, Vin DiCarlo - Attraction Code, and Juggler's Book and children articles plus a sprinkle of RSD.
Objection Game - this is essentially the same deal as number Secrets of Sexual Tension, a prettied up blog post. It does seem to contain more examples though. Almost like a routine stack. I haven't field tested this product yet though.
No Flakes v2 - This is pretty similar to the first with more examples. It seems a lot clearer though. could be mind games.
DiCarlo Escalation ladder v2 - this is the most similar to the original of all the products. I've tried this before, and I'm not sure if I'm doing it right. After reading attraction code, I want to try it again, because now I'm inspired.
- does as advertized.
-- Barns and Noble or amazon would have this at 15-20 bucks. But its cheap for an ebook
