I was just going to post this in my last thread about college but since this can be applied no matter where you are it deserves its own thread.
A subtle but effect tactic that I use anytime i'm with a girl that interest me is- Lets say that we are walking down whatever part of campus, a mall or anywhere at all. If there is someone walking towards us I will head nod and smile but I won't say anything. So since we are walking together she won't see me acknowledge them. She will think that they are the one(s)initiating some form of contact with me, which is a great social value raiser. At the minimum you will get a smile and a head nod back but it will mean more since she pervieves it as them coming to you. If you know the person then you could get that much more of a big response. I can use this tactic at will call and how often I want. Thats not to say I don't go out of my way to acknowledge people I know or have seen around, but only if they can't see me first. You can literally do this to practically everyone you pass and you will get back what you give out. This is the law of reciprocity. Have you ever had the experience where you percieve someone as saying hi to you or wave to you, you don't particularly recall them in the moment (because you really dont know them) but you find yourself waving or smiling just the same??? You quickly realize it wasnt to you, lol. This happens to me from time to time, law of reciprocity at work. You don't even have to know them and it will work. I often get "wow, you know a lot of people!" Which is always a +. People who are with me will naturally want to socially align with me.
