They probably didnt play competitive sports. They probably didnt have a girlfriend in high school. They probably didn't have a cool social circle of friends.
Because of the LACK of entitlement, it turns into an ego/validation rush to be able to step to the hottest women, and blow the "jocks" and "cool kids" out of the water.
At first, anyway.
After a bunch of notches on your belt, and some years with an "US versus THEM" mentality, you realize that the imaginary social barrier doesnt even exist.
Those AMOGS were ripping on you because its funny, and clowning around is fun.
Those parties in high school werent even that cool, and its apparent when you see the scared little high school kids, trying to buy a 40.
The only difference between YOU, and those "cool kids", is that maybe those kids got laid earlier than you, and they built up a cooler identity for themselves, than you did.
Thats all.
Its tempting to keep the story: "I came up from nothing. I busted my ass. Nobody knows my pain - blood, sweat, and tears man"
But you cant hold onto your story forever, and in order to evolve forward, you gotta let it go. You gotta evolve into a new man, the man you are SUPPOSED to be.
Its all in the past, and the past doesnt even exist.
Pat yourself on the back, and give yourself some well deserved props.
Stop being a hater, and embrace everyone around you, and wish them the best, because you want for others, what you want for yourself.
