I recently added a list at the end of my profile that busts on the quality of girls' profiles on POF. Since then, my response rate doubled to 20-30%, even though my email, pic and the rest of my profile remain the same (I've got a new profile concept that I'll be posting shortly depending on how well it field tests). I've had two chicks call me out for messaging them even though they break my rules, but I ignored that and it never came up again.
Here's the full text of my current list. Please modify it if you're going to use them in Canada, since I travel alot and have sent a LOT of emails. That said, it's REALLY easy to come up with your own list... just look for patterns of stupidity that annoy you.
I am attractive/A model/I go the the gym 5 times a week: People are going to make their own decision about how slim/toned/appealing they find you. You can't logic them in to thinking you're pretty.
I like hanging out with friends: Everyone likes hanging out with their friends. Try using your profile to talk about what makes you different from the rest of your gender.
I hate drama: Normal people just don't need to say this. Anyone who broadcasts to the world that they hate drama is really saying they're a drama magnet.
Why you are on POF: Yeah, we get it, you're too cool for the internet. You're only on here because of your sister/best friend/cat made you sign up...
I'm down to earth: POF is not a celebrity dating site, so you can't score points for not being arrogant and full of yourself.
Some background stats: My emails get read 80-85% of the time, and my profile gets viewed 50-75% of the time (I don't know how many girls block you from seeing if they view you on POF; 50 is the minimum, 75% is my estimate). I'm not really photogenic and my profile is decent, but not great. So the final response rate is only 10% to 15%. I have a feeling that's really bad, but I don't know.
