I'm sure terms like AFC, and Chode, and 'societies rules'. Was something instrumental for some.
HOWEVER as a community grows, it reaches a point, where it can no longer afford, inconsistancies, that can be easily managed in a smaller setting such as this community.
As this community grows, the simple fact is.. We are going to become more and more, like society.
As such, anti society, and anti afc, views and such, are naieve. And only affordeable in a small community, without the responsibilities, entailed, in a larger community or society.
~~~~~~~
Ettiquette, manner, and respectfulness, is important.
~~~~~~~~
Certain things, like ettiquite, does not have to be reinvented. Simply because, at previous dates, it was fun to dispute it.
Truth is.. as this sort of thing grows.. More responsibility is at hand.
More men are trying things out..
Hence, need for a reinstillment, of ettiquette and more social courtisy.
And there is no sense reinventing the wheel.
~~~~~~~~~
My take..
A more fun, generous, and creative approach is needed, to give people the FREEDOM these anti society things were designed for, YET also help remove misuse and abuse of ideas.
~~~~~~~~~~
Seeing, anti societal views, as mildly rediculous. Is a positive step.
Its important however, not to lose it completely. But rather, to keep it to a more pleasant subtlety.
Summary:
Don't be anti society.. its a concept only small communities and groups can afford..
SIDENOTE:
If you reduce exclusivity.. generally this is going to just turn on you, cuz you are gonna be society. And probably just crappily reinvent the wheel.
Small communities are a good thing, and promote diversity.
Since there are many, that are clueless, its important they don't just go out being reckless. And spurred by the power of a group, do things they wouldn't ordinarily do.
Only to an extent is this healthy.
And besides..
I did, just fine, not being anti society.
Don't let the enthusiasm, of those in the past who got carried away, affect what you do now.
I think, that many years ago, people got a little too excited.. And they made some comments, in a fairly small community, that seemed, fun and great at the time.
Its just going to end up in reinventing the wheel to not realise this.
And not having to use them, is only a mistake a smaller community can afford to make.
More there are chances that people misinterpret the original intent of what was said, and apply it in scewed ways.
As demand can't be met, or catered to, effectively any longer.
A light focus, on ettiquete, and normal behavior. Should replace, hostile views.
That blends, both 'understanding the concept', and keeping good feelings all round.
Or you are gonna cop some flak.
No need to reinvent the wheel. Embrace societal views. But keep mindful of other views, to strike a balance, and enable you to properly function in both avenues.
And is a circular concept.
In a joking way.. If you want a small group.. technically its meant to be anti society, and pro, its direction.
This is why its a group.
But too heavy of an 'anti society' thing.
Can open you up to people misusing your stuff, especially as a community grows.
You can learn to be good at seduction, or whatever it is you want to be good at, without having to be too anti society or reckless anyways.
