This technique was born as a sneaky gateway for kino, but IME it works even better as a diagnostic tool for calibration.
The Origin: I discovered it one day while drunk at a bar with three colleagues, including HB8 (Leah Dizon lookalike… DAFS), who was sitting to my left. We had gotten nice and toasty when I started getting horny vibes for/from HBLeah. I was encouraged by what I felt were some discreet IOI’s (i.e. lingering EC, verbal provocation), but I was drunk and, given the mixed company, I figured there was no way to escalate or close.
The Technique: So, that’s it. Plant a finger or your fingertips where you know their leg will come in contact. It’s so simple. I like to aim closer to the ass, although just above the knee was where I had my first success with HBLeah (F-close on Day 3). Key point: keep the hand palm down. It’s counter-intuitive because only the top part of your finger/hand is coming into contact, but I think that’s what accounts for the high degree of non-resistance by women. If the hand is turned up, suddenly you’re a perv. If the palm is down, SHE’s the one who’s sitting on YOUR hand…
Advanced Technique: Quite frankly, I now simply go ahead and insert my pinky or a couple fingers under her thigh while we’re riding a cab or while I’m sitting next to her in a bar or restaurant. I make no pretence of the move being accidental. And it’s been marvelously successful, all the same. The frame I have when doing so is either complete nonchalance or devilishly playful. I’m probing her for her mood, her openness, her BT, and beginning to establish dominance. I’ve never been blown out because of the move. Even if they remove your hand or flinch in reaction, the move is so unintrusive that you are welcome to try again.
Results: As mentioned, this move has been phenomenally successful for me. Of the last dozen or so lays in the past year, I’ve used the move on almost all of them and on every girl that I’m currently gaming. Every time I use it, I gain information or I open the door to more kino, more dominance over her body. Once she accepts your hand under her thigh, she is open to greater escalation. The move is low-risk and inherently discreet. Its benefits are:

This technique is solidly field-tested over dozens of interactions. Once the move has been anchored, I also use it on FBs or girls I’ve already laid as a kind of mark of bonding or ownership.

Just one little finger…
At one point I was leaning forward in my chair, bracing my left hand against the front edge of her seat. The evening was proceeding as normal—conversation, amusement, laughter—but then suddenly her bare thigh came to rest on my little pinkie, and it was like the fabric of time and space began to unravel. It could have been accidental. But she didn’t flinch and, since my colleagues’ view was obscured by the table, I saw no need to remove my hand from under her leg.
