I was thinking about approaches from last night and noticed a couple of things. This is obvious to us who go out a lot but guys who rely on doctrine "as written" may not understand.

There is a rule of social game out there that says you must be-friend the UG, or the bitch, or cockblock or whatever in a group.

I do agree that in some cases this is a necessary strategy. Particularly in two-sets. This is because women are heavily engaged with the friend and her friend's perception of you will be the primary social information she has to go on. Still -- even with the two set the goal is to merely stop her from cock-blocking you. If the target is into you acting completely "normal" when engaging her friend is acceptable. For women with game her friend WILL shit-test you and you WILL pass. Just be non-reactive and treat the girl like she is being silly. No biggie.

But this "rule" breaks down in my mind with larger sets. If you approach a larger group of women it IS NOT on you to befriend them ALL. Now your goal SHOULD BE to be "accepted by the group". So first, find the women that are most receptive and will let you "into the group". Now once you are in the group (chicks are not leaving, keeping open body language», etc..) you must become a "natural member" of their group. What does this mean?

That means if there is a friend that is being a bitch or actively cock-blocking or just not interesting she should be treated like you would treat anyone else. So if she's being negative towards you then avoiding, back-turning, acting like she's socially retarded are ALL valid things. Do NOT reward bad behavior and DO NOT try and "win her over". Ignore her and talk to her other more pleasant friends.

Now I do try and draw out the best in people. Nurturing and expecting the best is not supplicating. But if I sense a negative frame I will quickly slot her as an "energy drain" and put my attention elsewhere.

This displays high-status social behavior. Like any other group you are in you are the dominant one who decides what behavior is acceptable and what is not. It is does not matter that you just joined her group five minutes ago. You are the judger of her and her peers.
