I was running some errands last night in a part of town where people are outside walking about. I decided to grab a bite to eat at an over-the-counter type food place. It was locally owned (important, this probably won't work at a corporate chain), not fast food, but where you place your order at the counter and they bring it out to you 10-15 minutes later when its done.

This is a GREAT place to work for a young aspiring PUA looking for a day job.

As soon as I entered the place, a young 20-something guy there opens me. I immediately spot him as a mass-approach PUA, and read him as one that is very well calibrated. I give him a short reply and then order my meal. As I wait, a few pretty girls walk past the entrance of the restaurant. He runs out and opens them with a very good high energy fun vibe. More walk by, he opens them. Some regulars walk by and stop in the restaurant to say "hi" to him and hang out a minute even though they don't order. In between these sets, the guy stands near the table where I wait chatting to me, talking about how great this job is and how he meets so many girls. 3 more girls walk by, he runs out to open them. All this in the 10-15 minutes I was there.

This guy was on the clock, getting paid to PU! Not to cook. Not to clean. Not take to orders. (Though I'm sure when its busy he's required to step in). Pick up! How does he get away with this? This type of happy, positive, well-calibrated, approach machine vibe BRINGS IN CUSTOMERS. The owner of the place would rather pay him to "pick up" than run the register or cook.

It reminded me of rolling out with Baddog. Baddog had a similar approach machine vibe that put smiles on people's faces. We went to a bar/restaurant, and instead of staying at the bar he walked into the restaurant and opened sets at their tables. The waiter called the manager who came over to initially tell him to get back to the bar area, but when he saw the tables laughing and having a good time, ended up saying to me something along the lines of "I was about to kick him out, but we love customers that put smiles on people's faces. I'm watching him, but I like him!"

Of course there's a lot of game involved in laying a chick beyond being a well-calibrated approach machine, but if you're the personality type to which this style of game fits, an over-the-counter restaurant in a populated area of town is a GREAT place to find a job. The guy I met last night is essentially getting PAID TO PU! Can't ask for a better job as a late teen, early 20-something.

EDIT: Specifics on how to set this up:

A position like this takes time to set up. Here's how I would go about it. This is not field tested, but I have a decent enough amount of life experience to be pretty sure this is the way you end up in this position.

1. You already have to be a well-calibrated approacher. This is not the place to start figuring your shit out.

2. You want the cash register job, where you interact with people. Sarge everyone that comes to the counter indirectly with a smile and good vibes. Make people happy. Talk to every single customer.

3. On your breaks, stay in the restaurant and order a meal there instead of going somewhere else. Sarge the customers that are there. Run outside and sarge the passers by. Again - indirect, well-calibrated, and sarge EVERYONE, not just hot chicks. Sarge to get people into the restaurant.

4. Over time, the owner/manager will see how well you pull people into his business that would normally not come. As trust is built, and your ability to pull new customers and keep current customers coming back becomes apparent, he will become more and more lax as to your direct work responsibilities, and allow you to spend most of your time socializing.

5. Over more time, the owner's expectations for you becomes to be the guy hanging out in the vicinity of the restaurant pulling in customers, and to spend your time cooking/ringing only when necessary. You're MAKING HIM EXTRA MONEY by sarging. At the end of the day, business is all about making money, so if you can find a way to make another person money, they will let you do what you do.

You'd need an intelligent business owner/manager to make this work. If he's a dumbass he won't recognize your value. If he's one of those small-time "I finally own a restaurant and can make people do things my way" kind of guys it won't work.

Other experienced guys may have more ideas on how to pull this off.

The point it, it CAN BE DONE. I saw it with my own eyes last night.
