I read this thing in Mastermind, and it kills me not to be able to reply, so I decided to post here:

Getting laid, won't make you fufilled..
If you think that getting laid once a week, is where you want to get to.. one thing WILL happen.
You'll start wondering, WHY these lays don't change anything.. you'll start wondering, why its still all the same, and you'll start wondering, why sometimes you cherish a LOOK, or one touch, over that lay, or a whole MONTHS worth of lays..

Basically, you'll just become MORE CONFUSED, than you are now. Not less...
--- End quote.

The thing is, and this thing I know for a fact, if you use lays as a way to find happiness or to gain anything, then you're on the wrong track. But if you use seduction to feel a sense of accomplishment, or as a way of relaxing (yes, relaxing), you're probably going to do very well.

Now, I'm not a fantastic "layer" (although I've lately pulled new women home nearly weekly). But I am a fantastic player of guitar, and basically, a LOT of the same problems with guitar mastery applies to mastery of seduction.

During my years of playing guitar, I've met MANY wannabe guitarists. They all fail because of one simple thing: *They don't have a true love for playing*. Instead they want to achieve something else, either gaining popularity, money or get women. So they try to play the guitar for a while, and quickly loose motivation when they see how incredibly difficult it is to really master the instrument. Sure, they may be able to play Tom Dooley, but that's about it. And so they equally quickly find out that playing the guitar isn't a quick fix for their real problems: gaining popularity, getting rich, or getting women...

Me, on the other hand, could probably make a living out of playing the guitar now, if I wanted to. I'm so good I mesmerize people - truly, I'm not bragging. But I'm not doing it for fame, women or money. I'm doing it because I love the feeling of the sound when I push down the strings, I love the feeling of mastery when I perform something incredibly fast and difficult, while still maintaining the SOUL of the song. It's not about getting anywhere or anything except the pleasure and relaxation out of either getting i little better, making a new song, or just simply enjoy whatever I choose to play for myself.
