I have never gotten good results from online game, and recently I have been experimenting with a more up front profile style, where I don't try to social proof myself at all (although I do indirectly).
My profile now discusses why online game is stupid, but could still be useful to meet people. I do it in a non needy way and inject some humor and opportunities to qualify herself.
Within a week, I've had five women initiate contact. All are fuckable (though not hot). I think in the past six months, I've had two hideous chicks initiate contact. My response rate is also higher, and one girl I emailed replied back with her phone number. Most of my responses show much more interest than in the past, with phrases like "I hope I'm not being too upfront" (not asking for sex, lol) and "I was just burning to ask you this..." (again not sex. no I did not make that one up)
It may be helping that I am putting zero effort into my emails, and not even reading profiles. I just say "hey" and maybe a quick invite to talk or whatever, which I've done in the past but little success.
I know the online gurus are going to jump on me and say "well is it getting you laid more???". Well since I've never gotten more than a couple meets out of online, I don't really know yet, but it would seem that it is helping. Maybe I'm getting excited too early, but this is a huge difference in results for me.
I'm curious to know if anyone else is using this method, since I haven't read anything about it on here.
