The 'average guy' isn't a doormat or a nerd or a supplicating loser. They don't all suck up to chicks and buy them all kinds of presents and flowers and shit, or take them on hundreds of dates while they go and fuck a bunch of other guys.....come on now, the 'average guy' isn't a clueless idiot.
Now, of course clueless, loser guys like this do exist, and they are the true AFC "nice guys", but they don't make up the entire "non-PUA" population. In fact MOST guys aren't THAT bad with women...at least from my experience they are not. And I know and meet tons of new people all the time, and they are all pretty cool. Some are clueless losers, yes, but most are not.
I know tons of guys that pull pretty hot chicks SOMETIMES, simply by just going out to bars and talking to them....maybe even buying them drinks...or kicking whatever game (or lack thereof) they have to them.
Or they get girls through social circle meets, and keep them as girlfriends. Sometimes they may have good relationships, or sometimes they may have shitty ones. They aren't all losers that get walked all over by their girlfriends either just because they don't have super tight game....The simple fact that they have a set of balls allows them to keep their girlfriend's in line.
Hell, my roommate is a prime example of an average guy that doesn't really know what to do when it comes to getting new chicks. Currently he has 2 girls that he is fucking on the regular. One of them is his off and on gf of like 3 years, the other one is his ex from like 6 years ago that cheats on her current bf with him ocassionally. Also, he just banged this Asian chick the other night that wanted him....The Asian invited him over her house late night one night, and so he fucked her. My roommate is far from a PUA or a natural...he's okay looking. He just happens to be a really cool, chill guy so some chicks dig him.
The funny thing about my roommate is that he has no "game" whatsoever. My girl and her friend were over the other night. He tried to go for her friend, but he just didn't know what the hell to do (I observe these things a lot now). His big "game plan" was to offer for her to sleep in his bed because she would be too drunk to drive home...he figured that he would offer her his bed so she didn't have to sleep on the couch.....this "plan" of his obviously didn't work, since the whole night he really didn't give any SOI's or show any intent whatsoever throughout the entire night or anything, so when he offered her the bed, she was just like, "Um nah that's cool...I'll take the couch...." It was hilarious.
He really doesn't know how to go for new chicks other then just talk to them and hope it all works out, yet he still bangs a decent amount of hot chicks.....he's just an average guy, with no PU knowledge, and so are most other guys...
I was the same way as him when first finding this site. I hooked up with new chicks pretty often, but really I had no clue what the hell I was doing other then just talking to them and paying attention to obvious signs that they were interested. However, now I'm learning a lot more shit that I didn't know before. MAINLY if you make shit happen, you will get laid more or at least get more opportunities. That, along with simple knowledge such as showing your intentions and touching women a lot is far better then where I was at before where I really knew nothing, yet still hooked up occasionally.
I'm saying all this because it's a very bad mindset to be in when you consider yourself a loser or a chump or a choad just simply because you don't yet have the skills to pick up hot women of your choice yet. Just because you aren't a "PUA" does not make you a chump or a choad or a loser.....
You always hear about those 4 stages of learning a skill:

Once the average guy gets to this site, he realizes that he is at stage 2. He realizes to himself, "You know what, I really don't know how to pick up new chicks very well, I usually just hook up with the ones that show interest in me. I never realized that it was possible to learn such an awesome skill. I'm gonna give this a shot!"
So instead of taking on the journey to learn this new skillset starting out with the mindset of "I'm a clueless AFC", I would think it would be much better to start out thinking "I'm a pretty cool guy already....I guess if I start putting in some more effort, I can eventually start getting those 10's that I always thought were out of my league".
Just something I noticed that I figured I'd point out.
Something that pisses me off about some people on these boards is their attitudes towards the 'average guy'. See, the 'average guys' that I see most of the time are pretty cool guys, just without the benefit of having mASF knowledge. They don't realize that you can just go up to a random stranger and start talking to her without being considered weird. They don't know about things like kino, sexual tension, etc....they just simply don't know all the things that 'naturals' know....the stuff that people learn from this site.... That doesn't necessarily make them losers or 'choads' or 'chumps' though. It may just mean that they don't know how to get hot girls of their choice.
