Respect:

1) Composing yourself
2) Keeping a sense of ettiquette and manner (even during hostilities)
3) Lending people subtle or small assistance, regularly.
4) Allowing people a source of pride

Whining:

1) Snapping
2) Purposely forgetting ones ettiquette and manner
3) Lending large assistance, rarely. Or disguising own motives as assistance.
4) Not letting people their humble piece of pride

Its important to understand, that being bitchy, does not help people wishing to be good with women.
Nor does it help with relations,
Nor does it sharpen any kind of mental faculty.

Never be of the opinion, that you should, punish someone in this manner for not reacting the way you wished them to.

Punishment versus Authority:

The more powerful a mans authority, the less inclined to punish.

Traits of authority (authority in this context):

1) Moving past, or moving on from undesireables.
2) Effective, no nonsense causes of action.

Example:

If someone wants to drag something into the mud. If you have much authority, ignoring the matter, and focusing on better tasks at hand, can be very powerful, and put people in their place.
Also, their is a sense of reward, for by following your example, and doing as you do, they can be rewarded by the better or more fufilling path of interaction, given by you.
Go against them, be easily ignored, go with them, find fufillment.
Simple.

A stronger presence, will command this to have greater power.

Example2:

If somebody, truly steps out of line.
A long, drawn out, struggle is the real thing to be avoided.
Something that can achieve this, in a no nonsense manner is a good thing.

The basic premise, is that
Moving on, coupled with commanding some authority, is often all one needs to straighten out a situation.

Avoid, long drawn out struggles.

This is all you need..
And in having this.
You can be free, to be more generous with the time you have.
