No false pretenses; I'm a skeptic of the self-entitled 'Seduction Community's various claims (many of which are predicated on pseudoscience like neuro-linguistic programming, personal anecdotes and 'demonstrations' that could easily be poisoned by confirmation bias).
To that end, I intend to run an informal experiment with the intention of replicating the alleged success of 'Black Dragon', using precisely the techniques he has outlined in his guide to 'Online Game»'.
Here is how the attempted replication will proceed:
I will be using OkCupid's 'Quiver' feature to send initial contact messages to 3 young women per day (the Quiver prevents any bias on my part in selecting the women to message). The first 'salvo' of Quiver messages (sent out today) will use Black Dragon's suggested message format. An example of what was sent:
Hm. I'm really not sure if we're a match. I just noticed that we're both into the same kind of music.
Anyway, feel free to contact me if you want."
Tomorrow's salvo of messages will be part of the control variable; I will send out a standard conversational message that is much longer, tailored to the individual and includes complimentary language (which Black Dragon has claimed will poison your success rate). An example of a typical past message I've sent:
...Wait. Did you say, "Dr. Mario"?

What regions of Australia were you planning to visit after getting your visa (...just a standard work visa, or is it something more specialized?) ?
I can't say I'm of much use when it comes to the nuts & bolts of biology or chemistry (the high point of my contributions amount to what scores I've got playing FoldIt ), but I find both subjects entrancing and am a huge fan of Dr. Dawkins. I suppose you've heard of the mess that everyone's favorite Banana-wielding creationist has made at the beginning of On the Origin of Species? (...I hope they aren't planning to distribute up here).

This routine will then repeat for 6 months (540 total messages), with each day alternating between a salvo of test messages and a salvo of control messages. For the replication to be a success, the control group of messages must yield significantly fewer positive responses than the test messages.
